About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and security-minded Software Engineer to join our IT Secure Experience Team. In this role, you will focus on enhancing our security posture through identity stack engineering, IDP migration assessments, and AI security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Identity Stack Security: Engineer and maintain security solutions within the identity stack, focusing on authentication flows, access controls, and security best practices.
- IDP Migration & Assessment: Perform gap analyses and map authentication policies between providers (e.g., Okta and Entra ID) to support identity provider migrations and improve overall security posture.
- Backend Development & Architecture: Design and restructure backend architectures for modularity and scalability using Python and JavaScript.
- Tooling & Visualization: Develop and implement impactful internal tools and data visualizations (using libraries such as vis.js or NetworkX) to support security operations.
- Innovation & AI Security: Research and apply new technologies to business process security and AI security initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with global teams to troubleshoot issues, integrate cloud services (e.g., Microsoft Graph, Okta APIs), and deliver reliable, well-documented solutions.
- Security Engineering Initiatives Assist with security initiatives outside of the Identity space including Application Security, Network Security, and Zero Trust engineering.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Experience with authentication protocols, access controls, and identity management systems (Okta, Entra ID).
- Familiarity with cloud services and APIs (Microsoft Graph, Okta APIs).
- Security Mindset: Strong understanding of security fundamentals and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, ability to work independently, and a collaborative attitude toward feedback and mentorship.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with gRPC, vis.js, or NetworkX.
- Previous internship or project experience related to identity engineering or security posture assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects from concept to completion (e.g., capstone projects or independent research).
