Job Summary:
Bridges strategic planning and advanced data integration to enable data-driven strategies. Supports organizational strategic systems, initiatives, and projects through evaluation, design, and optimization while managing data delivery processes. Contributes to strategic planning and service line development by designing, optimizing, and presenting data-informed analytics. Serves as an inter-departmental liaison to maximize operational and strategic outcomes and ensure effective strategic resource utilization. Serves as a project manager, coordinating with departments and other entities to consolidate efforts in developing custom solutions. Coordinates schedules and evaluates project progress.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Work Experience:
Five years of experience producing and managing a wide variety of automated data-driven solutions, preferably utilizing a broad spectrum of core hospital data. Significant experience managing and applying requirements and standards within all stages of application/solution development to ensure the highest quality data and results from its use. Significant experience creating reusable programming, data processing, automation, and application development tools to establish ultimate efficiency, consistency, and developmental improvements in continually progressive development.
Direct experience in business intelligence or healthcare service line planning, data integration, or strategy preferred.
License/Registration/Certification:

Education and Training:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.

- Excellent business and system analysis skills. Ability to translate user requirements into a logical process to deliver an appropriate data-informed solution.

- Ability to handle stressful situations, particularly caused by high-priority and/or significantly time-constrained requests.
- Ability to establish requirements for data-informed solutions with people from varying disciplines and degrees of technical expertise.
- Must be self-motivated, analytical, a good troubleshooter, and goal-oriented.
- Prefer experience in as many of the following programming languages as possible: Microsoft T-SQL, VBScript, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), CCL, Oracle SQL
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft T-SQL preferred
- Appropriately manages priorities in terms of time and scheduling to effectively respond to the highest priorities of the executive leadership of the organization first and then to the priorities of the Strategic Analytics department.
