Position Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated and curious Data Analyst to join our team starting in late July or early August. This is a great opportunity to apply your data skills in a real-world setting while making a meaningful impact.

The Data Analyst systematically collects, processes, and performs statistical analyses on data sets. Analyzes and interprets data from various sources. Forecasts trends using regression and other methods of statistical modeling. Works closely with departments to understand data and provide relevant, informative insights. Presents technical reports and findings to the executive group. Uses knowledge of scripting and programming languages to clean, process, and analyze large data sets.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with managers and executives to develop/maintain dashboards and data-driven tools that support operational decision-making
  • Use your knowledge to explore machine learning models or assist with database management as needed
  • Gain hands-on experience with real data in a supportive, mission-driven environment

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

Preferred Skills:

  • Power BI
  • Power Automate
  • Microsoft Excel

Qualifications

Education required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
Experience required:
0-2 years of related experience in data analytics, preferably within a healthcare or senior living setting.
Professional license or certification requirements:
N/A
 
Specific skills, knowledge and abilities required:
Proficiency in BI analytics/reporting tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in data cleansing, data mining, data quality, and data visualization. Must be skilled in gathering information and linear programming. Must be familiar with regression analysis, statistical analysis, statistical reporting and trend analysis. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and proactive in developing solutions. Must be willing to take on other responsibilities as required. Ability to read, speak and write in English. 
 
Experience with scripting and querying tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
