Job Description:


This job is responsible for partnering with teams to deliver trusted, timely, and secure data and information products and services that align with the data technology strategy. Key responsibilities include assisting with an inventory of applications in the data flow for bank data domains and supporting their adherence to enterprise and global data and records management standards. Job expectations include implementing transport controls, extracting data sets to perform analysis, remediating data incidents, and promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices.

This job is part of an enterprise-wide capability supporting data privacy laws, rules, and regulations (LRR) that impact the Individual Rights Operations (IRO) and ePrivacy Operations (ePO) teams. Primary responsibilities are to: 1) manage individual rights requests received through varying intake channels throughout the cycle of the request: originating from intake to research, response drafting, and to response submission and request closure within the timeframes mandated by the privacy LRR, and 2) partner with application teams and other tech resources to determine digital objects usage in enterprise applications that may be regulated by privacy LRRs. Additional responsibilities include reviewing data privacy laws for impacts to the IRO and ePO processes, and executing activities to comply with the data privacy laws partnering with enterprise FLU/CFs as applicable. For IRO, individual will produce routine reports related to data subject rights for use internally and externally as required (e.g., regulators, Data Protection Officers). In addition, there are multiple reporting requirements to adhere to the Complaints Enterprise Policy and Standards. For ePO, individual will manage the process to ensure application is compliant and maintain appropriate evidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages Individual Rights Operations requests from receipt through response according to regulatory timeframes
  • Evaluates individual rights requests received by the Bank and determines specific client relationship(s) by investigating various Bank systems
  • Produces timely reports and deliverables related to individual rights, including internal reports and deliverables to other teams within Bank of America
  • Manages ePrivacy Operations application scanning process for digital objects and partners with appropriate tech resources to ensure application is compliant with data privacy laws
  • Produces monthly metrics related to the impacted processes
  • Collaborates with FLU/CF data privacy leads and compliance and legal partners to comply with data privacy laws, rules, and regulations

    Minimum Education Requirement:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
