Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Business/Data Analyst to join our dynamic analytics and delivery team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and clients, supporting data-driven decision-making, reporting, and compliance solutions. The ideal candidate is proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL (including working with JSON fields), has a keen interest in data analysis, and is eager to grow in client-facing roles. Exposure to AI/ML or life sciences compliance domains is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, especially within PostgreSQL environments, including queries using JSON/JSONB structures.
Analyze structured and semi-structured data to identify trends, outliers, and business insights.
Participate in client meetings, requirement discussions, and data validation walkthroughs to support solution delivery.
Build, test, and maintain reports/dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel, and assist in performance monitoring.
Assist in documenting business requirements, test cases, and data workflows.
Support QA/UAT processes by validating data accuracy and providing support to end-users.
Collaborate with internal delivery, product, and engineering teams to translate client needs into scalable analytical solutions.
Assist in building training materials, FAQs, or user guides for client handoffs or knowledge transfers.
Contribute to data preparation tasks for AI/ML models or internal prototypes (as needed).

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience using PostgreSQL, including handling JSONB data types.
Solid analytical and logical reasoning skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients and internal stakeholders in a professional setting.
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Exposure to AI/Machine Learning concepts or experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
Familiarity with life sciences or pharmaceutical industry, especially compliance areas such as:
Risk Assessments
Transparency reporting
Monitoring, Auditing and Investigations
Understanding of Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
