iOS Engineer – Fleets Product Area

We are seeking a passionate and skilled iOS Engineer to join our Fleets product area, working across multiple product teams focused on integrations and user flows impacting drivers and riders. The ideal candidate can ramp up quickly, deliver fast while maintaining high quality, and collaborate closely with senior engineers across iOS, Android, and backend teams.

Our mobile app is used by millions of people, and we prioritize excellent development practices, careful code architecture, and rapid release cycles. Continuous integration, automated testing, beta releases, analytics, A/B testing, and feature flagging are key to our rapid iteration process. Every line of code is reviewed, every pixel inspected, and every feature rigorously tested.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with senior/staff iOS engineers to adopt new APIs, identify blockers, and resolve issues.
Quickly ramp up on product context, codebase, and architecture while working closely with the product team.
Deliver well-crafted, well-tested, and maintainable code.
Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Actively support and unblock team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

Experience & Skills

Minimum 5+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience building and shipping large-scale iOS applications.
Strong expertise in Swift, with experience in Reactive Programming, Declarative UI, and SwiftUI.
Proficient in unit and snapshot testing and creating shared components.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
