Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Junior Data Analyst, in this role you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the data and analytics team to ensure that business needs are being met. This includes exploring new ideas and creating innovative, data-driven solutions that help drive decision-making and operational efficiency.
Role accountabilities:
- Managing and merging multiple Excel data files without error or data corruption
- Performing detailed data analysis using SQL
- Writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Creating and maintaining ETL workflows using tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Designing reports and visualizations using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI
- Analyzing and manipulating data in Excel, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders
- Assisting with various aspects of the data management lifecycle – including data input, cleaning, and validation
- Creating and maintaining dashboards in Power BI, and configuring On-premises Data Gateways
- Automating recurring reports using Python, R, or Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate/Power Apps)
- Collecting, tracking, and trending projection/forecast data
- Collaborating closely with the Project Controls and Scheduling teams
- Presenting data outputs and trends to stakeholders and senior leadership, as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the infrastructure or construction industry
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with enterprise database tools such as SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), SSIS (Integration Services), and SSRS (Reporting Services)
- Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, Power BI (or Tableau), and Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including document editing and version control
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams and levels of the organization

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
