Job Title: .NET Developer
Location: Lutz, FL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite after 2 weeks fully onsite)
Duration: 6 Contract to Hire
Pay: $55-65/hr - W2 ONLY - NO C2C
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Systems Analyst with strong .NET and SQL Server expertise to support and enhance Energy Supply Work and Asset Management applications. This role involves participation in the full software development life cycle, providing production support, and working under the direction of senior IT team members. The analyst will primarily support custom .NET applications such as Facility Ratings and System Reliability, among others.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in projects executing the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Provide production support for assigned applications.
- Develop and maintain custom .NET applications.
- Create and consume RESTful web services (ASP.NET Web API).
- Perform technical and functional unit testing.
- Work within Agile/Kanban environments, contributing to sprints and ceremonies.
- Support and maintain vendor applications.
- Collaborate on pull requests, ensuring best practices, documentation, and peer review.
- Work on Azure DevOps pipelines, Git repositories, and release management.
Required Skills & Experience
- C# .NET v8, .NET Core, .NET Standard, Visual Studio – 5+ years
- ASP.NET Blazor – 1+ years
- Windows Forms & ASP.NET Web Forms – 2+ years
- HTML5, JavaScript, CSS2/3 – 5+ years
- RESTful Web Services (ASP.NET Web API) – 3+ years
- T-SQL – Strong proficiency
- Git – 2+ years
- Azure DevOps – 1+ years
- Asynchronous request handling & partial page updates – 1+ years
- UML – 1+ years
Highly Desired Skills
- Cloud development experience (e.g., Azure Service Bus, Application Insights) – 1+ years
