Network Engineer – Data Center
Location: Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA
Clearance: Secret (minimum)
Education: N/A beyond certifications/experience
Certifications: Security+ CE (required); Cisco CCNP Enterprise Core or Data Center specialty (required)
Experience: 10+ years Cisco network engineering
Key Duties:
- Install/configure Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, Nexus, UCS, ACI.
- Apply DISA STIGs, troubleshoot incidents, support change management.
- Manage data center networking, compute, storage, automation.
- Integrate with SEIM tools: Splunk, SolarWinds, Cisco ISE.
- Work with advanced routing (EIGRP, OSPF), SD-Access, SD-WAN.
- Collaborate with DoD teams on project requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
