The Business Analyst serves as a bridge between technology solutions and business operations within IES to drive operational success across multiple jurisdictions and client portfolios. The analyst identifies process improvement opportunities, supports scalable technology solutions and maintains seamless integration between various business systems to enhance client experiences.
The Business Analyst directly influences revenue growth, risk mitigation, and market expansion through the development of robust, compliant operational frameworks that support our organization's strategic objectives. The position requires a blend of business acumen, and operational knowledge, and familiarity with technical processes to deliver exceptional client experiences while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and service excellence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable specifications.

Create process flows, user stories, and functional requirements documentation.

Optimize internal procedures ensuring quality, efficiency and smooth workflows.

Provide first level support and triage for IT tickets.

Analyze and streamline business processes through automation and system enhancements requirements gathering to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual interventions.

Analyze business metrics and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic decision-making.

Conduct business process analysis and solution design for complex operational workflows for stakeholders.

Gather user feedback to recommend enhancements that improve functionality and operational efficiency.

Work with all departments to proactively oversee the implementation of any new operational processes/procedures as they occur and identify process improvement opportunities.

Support implementation of new business systems, modules, or upgrades including testing and data migration for platform scalability.

Gathers feedback across the organization, investigates potential solutions, and conducts root cause analysis.

Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to implement business initiatives that support client objectives and improve service quality.

Identify reports that already meet requirements.

Develop and maintain business requirements for key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics tracking.

Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support business initiatives.

Analyze, and assist in design changes across multiple departments and functions.

Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to optimize and enhance existing business processes.

Support UAT training for new and updated reports, including collaboration with Nebula and other stakeholders.

Leverage expertise in D365 to design, configure, and execute comprehensive UAT test scripts.

Assist in the testing and validation of Worksite platform enhancements.

Facilitate clear and effective communication to ensure alignment and collaboration.
-
Demonstrate a strong understanding of end-to-end business process flows and data flows.

Represent the IT team in cross-functional meetings, ensuring that departmental interests and updates are communicated.

Provide timely updates to the IT team and users regarding project progress, ticket status, meeting outcomes, and ongoing projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in IT, business analysis, or a related field.

3-5 years business analyst experience in Business Administration, Information Systems, data analysis, or related field.

Knowledge of PEO/EOR industry is highly desirable.

Ability to analyze complex business challenges and determine appropriate solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to translate technical requirements into business terms for documentation to facilitate stakeholder alignment.

Experience with handling and prioritizing multiple projects meeting deadlines with autonomy.

Strong verbal and written skills to lead and participate in meetings, draft clear documentation, and communicate with global stakeholders.
