We are currently seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer (Kubernetes / FTE / Onsite) to join our team in Smithfield, Rhode Island (US-RI), United States (US).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Understanding of Kubernetes core concepts
Experience in extending Kubernetes including build operators, custom resources.
Experience leveraging Go / Python for application maintenance
Hands-on development experience working with cloud technologies in AWS and/or Azure,
Hands-on experience with Rancher
Hands-on experience with Jenkins for building, deploying, and maintaining pipelines
Ability to write, debug, and optimize Groovy scripts for Jenkins pipeline automation and job configuration
Strong understanding of pipeline-as-code and best practices for scalable CI/CD processes
Proven experience administering and maintaining Unix/Linux systems, including patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and principles
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment
Familiarity with system-level debugging, log analysis, and ensuring uptime/availability of critical platform components
Proficiency with shell scripting to automate routine maintenance tasks
Passion for the DevOps culture

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years' experience working on Kubernetes including build operators, custom resources
5+ years' development experience in cloud technologies in AWS and/or Azure
5+ years development experience in Go / Python for application maintenance
