What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a Data Analyst to transform Colossal’s unused data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. This is more than just crunching numbers; we’re looking for someone who is curious, independent, and deeply analytical. The data analyst will work closely across departments, including Business Development, Compliance, Accounting, Technology, and Marketing, to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and inform decisions at every level of the organization.
This role is for someone proactive, self-sufficient, and trustworthy. The ideal candidate is someone who doesn’t require excessive guidance and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support Colossal’s business goals
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver insights that inform strategy, operations, and growth initiatives
- Translate complex data into clear, concise reports and visualizations that inform and influence leadership decisions
- Develop, maintain, and improve data pipelines and reporting systems
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and optimization through data analysis
- Recommend tools, platforms, or methods that enhance Colossal’s data capabilities
- Ensure data integrity, privacy, and security across data analysis efforts
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role, with a proven ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Strong SQL skills, Google Analytics, and experience working with large datasets
- Proficient in data visualization tools
- Strong domain knowledge with the ability to understand and adapt to various business functions
- Self-starter who can work independently and take full ownership of projects from start to finish
- Comfortable collaborating across departments and communicating complex findings in simple terms
- Ability to identify trends, analyze patterns, and present insights in a clear and actionable way.
- Experienced in data cleaning, data management, and applying statistical techniques to drive data-informed decisions
- Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills
- Trustworthy and reliable, with a strong sense of personal accountability
- Willingness to recommend and implement new tools or technologies to support analysis processes
