This position follows a hybrid work model (2 days onsite) and is open to candidates located in Portsmouth, NH; Boston, MA; Plano, TX; Indianapolis, IN; and Columbus, OH.
We’re building the next-generation personal lines quoting platform and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design solutions, build, and operate AWS-native services that power roughly 80% of all direct channel quoting volume. You’ll work across TypeScript/Node.js and Java services running on AWS Fargate and AWS Lambda, with DynamoDB and DocumentDB as primary data stores. The ideal candidate is both technically strong and deeply collaborative, and has working knowledge of the insurance quoting lifecycle.
Design, implement, and operate scalable, secure services and APIs for the quoting platform using TypeScript/Node.js and Java on AWS (Fargate & Lambda).
Participate in system architecture discussions, drive technical designs, and produce high-quality, documented code.
Qualifications
A thorough grasp of IT concepts, business operations, design and development tools, system architecture and technical standards, shared software concepts and layered solutions and designs
What will set you apart from others?
Familiarity with Node.js, Java, Typescript, GraphQL, fargate containers and lambdas is beneficial
