Senior Data Analyst — Utilities & Infrastructure Services (On-site, USA)
We operate in the infrastructure and utility services sector, specializing in dry-utility engineering, construction support, and field operations across municipal and commercial projects. Our analytics team delivers operational insights that reduce outages, optimize crews, and improve asset lifecycle decisions. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to work on-site in the USA to translate multi-source operational data into trusted dashboards, forecasts, and action plans.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end analysis of asset, field-operations, work-order, and project datasets to identify trends, root causes, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Design, build and maintain robust ETL pipelines and data models using SQL and Python to integrate GIS, SCADA, CMMS, and financial feeds.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports (Power BI/Tableau) for operations, asset management, and executive stakeholders—deliver clear KPIs and self-service analytics.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and GIS teams to standardize data definitions, improve data quality, and document analytics workflows and metrics.
- Perform statistical analyses and forecasting (time-series, regression) to enable predictive maintenance, crew-level workload planning, and demand forecasting.
- Coach and mentor junior analysts, establish analytics best practices, and implement QA processes for reproducible, auditable results.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of hands-on data analytics experience.
- Advanced SQL and strong Python (pandas) skills plus proven experience building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience working with GIS-enabled datasets and operational/field data (work-orders, CMMS, SCADA), with strong Excel skills for ad-hoc analysis.
Preferred
- Experience in the utility, construction, or infrastructure sector and familiarity with CMMS (Maximo, Oracle, etc.) or field-service systems.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure), orchestration/ETL tools (Airflow, Talend) and predictive modeling for maintenance/workforce planning.
