About the Role
You'll join a small, highly successful, technical, and collaborative group where your impact will be immediate and visible. This is a coding-intensive position focused on engineering and operational excellence-not research or modeling. You'll work closely with researchers, providing live support and ensuring the reliability of mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate is adaptable, resourceful, and eager to take on multiple projects at once.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality code and technical solutions to support trading and research operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time, ensuring minimal downtime for researchers and trading systems.
• Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and internal tools.
• Collaborate with a smart, driven team in a transparent, results-oriented environment.
• Balance multiple priorities and projects with a startup mindset.
Ideal Candidates
• 2-5 years of hands-on software engineering/quant dev experience, ideally in a pod, startup, or similarly agile environment (not banks).
• Strong technical skills-this is a builder's role, not a research position.
• Proven ability to support live systems and quickly debug/fix code.
• Comfortable juggling several projects and shifting priorities.
• Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field from a top ranked university.
