Position: Data Engineer
Location: Miami, FL/Irving, TX***Day Onsite***
Skills: Grafana stack, ELK stack, AWS OpenSearch, New Relic, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database, Timeseries Influx/Prometheus
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards using Grafana, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and AWS OpenSearch.
- Design and implement data visualizations that provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure dashboards meet business needs.
- Integrate monitoring solutions with microservices architecture.
- Write and maintain scripts in Python for data collection, processing, and automation.
- Optimize performance and scalability of monitoring solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to monitoring and data visualization.
- Integrate with various databases, including time series databases like InfluxDB and other relational databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases like Apache Cassandra, Neo4j, Redis.
- Implement and manage job scheduling tools to automate tasks and workflows.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in monitoring and analytics.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years of experience in implementing & maintaining insightful dashboards using different monitoring tools stack.
- Proven experience with Grafana stack, ELK stack, and AWS OpenSearch.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard development.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and best practices.
- Experience with database integration and time series databases (e.g., InfluxDB, TimescaleDB).
- Experience with job scheduling tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Cron).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
