Our Intelligent Health Management System, HealthVisionTM, is a first-in-class enterprise solution leveraging real-time predictive analytics and generative AI to deliver improved outcomes, efficiencies, and economics for health systems and value-based care organizations.
HDAI is located in Dedham, MA near the Dedham Corporate Center Commuter Rail station on the Franklin/Foxboro line (25 minutes from Back Bay and South Station, Boston) and I-95/128. Interviews are being conducted remotely.
Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. A strong understanding of full-stack development principles, microservices architecture, and a commitment to writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Develop High-Quality Software: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality full-stack applications in React, Node.js, FastAPI, Postgres DB, DynamoDB, AWS, and Datadog.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with team leads, product managers and other engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements and user needs.
- Optimize Applications: Focus on writing efficient, scalable, and well-documented code. Continuously refactor and improve the existing codebase.
- Communication and Feedback: Communicate technical plans, progress, and issues effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure Best Practices: Follow industry best practices for security, performance, and reliability. Implement automated testing and deployment scripts where applicable.
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, using debugging tools and methodologies to identify root causes. Implement fixes and improvements, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Improve AI Integrations: Adapt and implement AI solutions into our workflow to enhance efficiency and innovation in our applications. Participate in the definition and execution of security standards and compliance.
- Adopt New Technologies: Stay updated with emerging technologies and participate in the evaluation and adoption of new tools
Minimum qualifications
- 5+ years of professional frontend or full-stack development experience
- 5+ years designing or leading the architecture of cloud-native systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong hands-on coding skills in React, TypeScript, and Python
- Proven ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams (Product, QA, MLOps, etc.)
- Comfortable and productive in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments
- Fluent in SQL with experience in relational databases (Postgres) and familiarity with NoSQL stores (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience writing unit tests and applying test-driven development (TDD) practices
- Confident using Git and Terraform within CI/CD pipelines
- Able to articulate engineering design choices and tradeoffs across scalability, performance, security, usability, and developer experience
- Demonstrated expertise working with complex data sets and data relationships
Preferred education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience; Master’s degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $146,235.00 - $165,321.00 per year
