Salesforce Engineer – Marketing Cloud & Salesforce Experience

This is an in-person position located in downtown Miami, FL. Please do not apply if you are unable to commute on a daily basis.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining Salesforce applications, with a focus on system integration and user experience. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure Salesforce is tailored to meet business needs and supports continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
Configure Salesforce environments, including creation of custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and process builders.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to configurations, performance, and integrations.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code with a strong emphasis on reusability and performance.
Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Maintain Salesforce security settings and ensure data integrity and compliance.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Provide user training and support on Salesforce functionality and best practices.
Stay current with Salesforce updates, releases, and new features, recommending improvements as needed.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and team knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer or Engineer, with deep knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem.
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and Salesforce integration tools/APIs.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
Strong understanding of development lifecycle, testing, debugging, and deployment best practices.
Familiarity with development tools like Salesforce DX, Developer Console, and Workbench.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable working collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Application Architect)
Experience with third-party integrations (e.g., marketing automation, payment gateways)
Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Prior experience working in Agile development environments
