Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Design and conduct data-driven research to solve complex business or scientific problems.
• Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data-driven strategies and product improvements.
• Analyze large, complex datasets using Python, R, SQL, or similar tools.
• Publish technical findings and contribute to the organization’s AI and data science innovation roadmap.
• Prototype and validate algorithms for prediction, optimization, or natural language processing.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices in model evaluation and deployment.
Required Qualifications
• PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, Physics, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven research experience demonstrated through publications, patents, or projects.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Julia, and familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling, optimization, and experimental design.
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with deep learning, NLP, or generative AI.
• Knowledge of data engineering pipelines and MLOps frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to translate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
