Who we’re looking for:
You recently graduated (or graduating soon in Information Technology (IT), Information Systems (IS), or Management Information Systems (MIS), and you’re excited to turn class projects and internships into real-world impact. If you like helping people solve problems, enjoy working with data, and want a role that blends application support with analytics and automation, this is for you.
You may be a great fit, even if your experience is from classes or internships. We’ll ramp you up with mentorship, hands-on learning, and clear project ownership.
What you’ll do:
Support business-critical applications (Enterprise Asset Management and Enterprise Resource Planning, such as Maximo & JD Edwards)
- Triage and resolve tickets (L1/L2) with guidance; document steps and create simple runbooks.
- Learn how configuration, integrations, and scheduled jobs keep our applications running smoothly—then take on small enhancements as you grow.
Work with relational databases (SQL Server)
- Write and optimize TSQL queries, views, and stored procedures used by apps and reports.
- Assist with performance tuning, data integrity checks, and basic administration tasks.
Build reports & dashboards (Power BI & SSRS)
- Turn business questions into Power BI visuals and SSRS reports.
- Manage refresh schedules, row-level security, and subscriptions with oversight.
Move and transform data (SSIS)
- Develop and maintain SSIS packages for extract/transform/load (ETL) workflows.
- Implement logging, error handling, and alerting; monitor jobs and fix failures.
Become our Microsoft Solutions Expert: Have—or develop—SharePoint & Power Platform skills
- Build modern SharePoint Online pages, lists, and document libraries (you’ll learn branding, metadata, and views).
- Automate processes with Power Automate and create simple Power Apps; help teams adopt best practices for collaboration and document governance.
What you’ve done (through school or internships):
- Completed projects by identifying and meeting requirements by using SQL and a relational database (preferably SQL Server).
- Built at least one Power BI or SSRS report/dashboard from a real dataset.
- Created an ETL or data prep workflow (SSIS, or similar tools in class).
- Worked on a team to troubleshoot an application or data issue and documented the fix.
- Exposure to SharePoint Online or Power Platform, or a strong interest in learning quickly.
Experience with Maximo or JD Edwards is a plus, not a must. If you understand ERP/EAM concepts from coursework, we’ll teach you the specifics.
