Responsibilities
Kforce's client in Edison, NJ is searching for a Data Analyst to join their team. Role Summary: The Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in the Data & Analytics function, focusing on enhancing understanding of healthcare operations through insightful data analysis. This position involves building and maintaining research data models to support operational and clinical insights, developing research tools, and fulfilling ad-hoc research requests. The role also requires analyzing operational data to identify trends and inform decision-making, while staying current with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation. Responsibilities:
-  Data Analyst will lead the integration of clinical research data into the organization's data infrastructure, ensuring alignment with project objectives and promoting interoperability
-  Collaborate with research teams to identify data requirements and define key metrics essential for evaluating study outcomes, contributing to the design of research studies and protocols
-  Assess and validate clinical data for quality, consistency, and accuracy, implementing data cleansing and transformation techniques to prepare data for analysis
-  Develop and maintain documentation of data acquisition processes, variable definitions, and analytical methodologies for clinical research projects to ensure traceability, governance, and reproducibility
-  As a Data Analyst, you will maintain ongoing communication with research stakeholders to understand evolving research objectives and adjust data analysis strategies accordingly, providing ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed
-  Contribute expertise to Epic-related projects and initiatives within the organization
 
 
Requirements
-  Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Statistics or related quantitative STEM field
-  Epic certifications such as EPIC Clinical Data Model
-  Experience in a healthcare environment and familiarity with healthcare data types (e.g., EHR, claims, MAR)
-  Strong technical acumen, coupled with exceptional project management and communication skills
-  Strong analytical background and problem-solving skills
-  Ability to analyze complex problems, review related information, and develop and evaluate options for effective solution implementation
 
 
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
