Data Analysis at USAN is powered by our internal reporting infrastructure through a combination of custom report generation and supplemented with data visualization tools such as Tableau and AWS QuickSight / Quick Suite, allowing users to glean insights about systems that handle millions of customer contacts from a high-level view or drilling down to specific details.
The Entry Level Data Analyst will assist fellow team members with analyzing trends, monitoring performance, mining large data sets, and reporting findings that will be shared with senior management and/or our customers. USAN collects IVR data, using it to help customers make better business decisions. The Data Analyst is the link between USAN’s hosted IVR and ACD telephony client solutions and the performance of solutions in the real world, to better understand the caller journey.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics or IT-related fields (BS in Computer Science, Information Management)
- Moderate experience with Excel and other MS Office 365 software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative and good judgment.
- Must possess the ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate effective time-management skills to comply with project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Information Management
- Experience with reporting packages (Tableau, Business Objects, Power BI, etc.)
- Some exposure to statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (R, SAS, etc.)
