Fuse Media is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join the Business Intelligence & Insights team. This role supports the collection, validation, and analysis of data across Fuse Media’s CTV, FAST, social, and digital platforms and is ideal for someone eager to grow in media research, analytics, and business intelligence. The position reports to the Director & Manager of Business Intelligence & Insights, and is based in either Glendale, CA or New York, NY. We practice a hybrid work model, currently in-office twice a week or as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Work in syndicated tools (e.g. MRI & Nielsen) and deterministic tools (e.g. iSpot & VideoAmp) to fulfill sales RFPs with a focus on FAST Channels
- Prepare and analyze recurring and ad hoc reports to track trends in viewership, content performance, social media platforms, and financial metrics (e.g. forecasting, revenue reporting)
- Assist with onboarding, proactively learning, and maintaining a variety of vendor systems
- Liaise closely with internal developers on automation and dashboard projects
- Maintain key research databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency and proactively resolving data discrepancies
- Contribute to cross-departmental presentations and internal memos using data-driven insights
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in media research, ad sales, or business development
- Experience with the media landscape required; familiarity with outcome-based measurement preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of skills, training and hands-on experience
- An expert in Excel – able to easily manipulate data, use advanced formulas, and run macros
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Chat GPT, Claude and Perplexity
- Knowledge of at least one data manipulation tool (e.g. SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI)
- Comfortable presenting in front of others; thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive self-starter with an innate ability to turn data into concise and actionable recommendations, and a willingness to ask thoughtful questions to drive clarity and results
SALARY RANGE
- $65,000 - $70,000 annually (DOE)
