Role Overview
The People Data Analyst position has a crucial role in supporting Cartier North America's people analytics strategy. As a part of this role, you will work closely with all Commercial & HR stakeholders to understand their specific analytics requirements and provide guidance on best ways to support their needs. Your primary responsibility will be creating custom dashboards and conducting data analysis to enable targeted recommendations linked to the business strategy for all partners. You will also assist the People Data & Analytics Director in implementing data analysis into the commercial and HR function's day-to-day work and decision-making, driving the visualization of critical talent metrics, and tying people insights to our commercial data.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and Looker, delivering clear and actionable insights.
- Analyze workforce/ people data (headcount, turnover, performance, recruiting, etc.) to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and leaders to define reporting needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions.
- Contribute to the optimization of Workday reporting and analytics, providing actionable insights to support HR and business decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and dashboards.
- Support the design and implementation of workforce metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
- Translate complex data into compelling visual stories that support executive presentations and business reviews.
- Partner with HRIS and IT teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure smooth integration with systems such as Visier and Workday.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or in any similar scientific field.
- 2+ years of experience in analytics and/or data warehousing, ideally in an international context.
- Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerBI, and Looker; experience building complex, visually engaging dashboards required.
- Demonstrated analytical and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Excellent Excel and data modeling capabilities; experience with SQL a plus.
- Familiarity with Workday, Visier, or other HRIS systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
