Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Use computer vision, machine learning, and statistical techniques to create innovative, scalable optical inspection solutions to solve manufacturing problems
- Develop algorithms and software tools needed for instrument control, data capture and data analysis
- Coordinate the fabrication and deployment of inspection solutions
- Lead the product inspection technology roadmap with associated functional teams
Education and Work Experience
- BS/MS+ in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, AI, or related fields
- 7+ years hands-on experience architecting and designing optical inspection solutions
- Proficient in C++, C, Python and OpenCV
- Experience with Automated Optical Inspection equipment
- Understanding of hardware development and manufacturing process of consumer products
- Strong background in computer vision, machine learning and applications
- Demonstrated small/large team leadership and interpersonal skills
- Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem-solving, good time management and task prioritizing skills

Pay: $130,000.00 - $157,600.00 per year
