Job Title: Operations Intelligence Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Intelligence Analyst reports to the Vice President of Global Operations Services and supports the Operations Leadership team by providing insights to help drive operations performance and profitability. This position will be responsible for developing reports, compiling data across multiple systems, and driving insights from the restaurant level through overall portfolio trends. This role plays a valuable role in helping to drive the performance of the Church’s Texas Chicken portfolio, and the candidate will need to be comfortable presenting to the executive/leadership team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and maintain recurring reporting to support operations leadership
- Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable business insights.
- Consolidate data from various sources to provide standardized access to essential business metrics for stakeholders
- Track and document key restaurant-level attributes and operational alignments
- Create ad hoc reports for company and/or franchise executives as needed.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data as well as related platforms, programs, and systems.
- Provide regular updates to senior executive management regarding strategic initiative progress and performance.
- Investigate consistent deficiencies in restaurant performance on both a micro and macro level.
- Evaluate Return on Investment (ROI) from operational initiatives to measure financial impact, efficiency gains, and overall business value.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels of leadership.
- Work with leadership, internal departments, and third-party vendors to determine and meet data and reporting needs.
QUALIFICATIONS & CORE COMPETENCIES
- Minimum of three (3) years of database administration and/or business intelligence experience.
- User knowledge of SSAS Tabular data model tools, including SQL, Power Query, and/or Power BI, preferred.
- Able to manage multiple competing projects, prioritize, and meet challenging deadlines.
- Demonstrates effective planning and organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create correspondence, emails, memos, and summaries, as well as prepare and execute presentations in a clear, concise manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, and often demanding corporate environment where one must work well under pressure
- Show a sense of urgency, remain flexible, and both effectively and quickly adjust to shifting priorities and conditions.
- Experience in the restaurant and Retail industries preferred, particularly in restaurant management and/or corporate administration.
- Expert fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Word, and Outlook).
- Experience with cloud-based data/document-sharing platforms such as FTP, Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint, and/or MS Teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other departments and third-party vendors to accomplish strategic goals, complete special projects, and maintain positive working relationships.
