A leading global investment firm is seeking a senior AWS Engineer, leading the design and automation of scalable cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance environments. This role suits experienced professionals with 8+ years in AWS architecture, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code.
Responsibilities
• Cloud Architecture & Automation: Build and maintain scalable AWS environments using Pulumi and automation frameworks.
• Network Design & Operations: Develop and support cloud network architecture (VPCs, routing, subnets), disaster recovery planning, and system documentation.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside development and operations teams to align cloud solutions with business goals, monitor usage and costs, and promote best practices.
Required Qualifications
• AWS Expertise: Demonstrated experience with AWS infrastructure and networking components (e.g., VPC, NAT Gateways, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect), with a focus on performance and cost efficiency.
• Infrastructure as Code: Strong proficiency with Pulumi (Python preferred) and experience with Packer for image creation.
• Automation & DevOps: Solid understanding of scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps workflows.
Preferred Experience
• Systems Administration: Background in Linux systems, shell scripting, and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or Nomad.
• Monitoring & Security: Experience with observability platforms (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) and cloud security best practices.
