My client, a leading multi-strat hedge fund, are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their elite technology team based in Dallas.
In this role, you'll join a high-calibre development team in Dallas, working in small, agile groups with the autonomy to drive your own roadmap and collaborate closely with financial professionals across the firm.
You'll build impactful solutions using technologies like C#, Python, TypeScript, and SQL, while leveraging modern infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS—all within a flat, fast-paced environment that values intellectual agility, operational excellence, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Partner with finance professionals to design and implement technology solutions across treasury, legal, compliance, trading, and operations.
- Build and maintain internal web applications, data tools, and business systems in a full-stack environment (C#, Python, Angular/React, SQL).
- Own the full development lifecycle from ideation to deployment, testing, and ongoing support.
- Advocate for strong engineering practices—version control, automated testing, modular design, and clean architecture.
- Continuously learn and rotate across business teams to gain broad domain knowledge and maximize impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related STEM field.
- 1–5 years’ development experience in C# and Python (or comparable languages).
- Strong experience with modern web development—HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular preferred).
- Exposure to financial systems, especially Treasury functions (Margin, Financing, Allocations), is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—must be comfortable liaising directly with business users.
- Strong analytical mindset, curiosity for finance, and a self-starter attitude.
