Business Data Analyst | Charlotte, NC (4 days onsite)

Rate: $45/hr - $50/hr

We are looking for a Business Data Analyst who possesses a strong understanding of data and has a proven track record of collaborating with business stakeholders. This position merges data-centric analysis with traditional IT business analysis, transforming business needs into practical technical requirements. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, client-focused, and skilled at converting abstract concepts into tangible solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Focus: Business data analysis and validation
Secondary Focus: IT software business analysis
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, define, and translate data and software-related requirements.
Involves data requirements, validation, extraction, and mapping
Work closely with business users to collect, prioritize, and refine requirements.
Convert business ideas into actionable IT software requirements.
Conduct data validation, source-to-target mapping, and general data analysis.
Write and interpret SQL queries, including joins and select statements, and review stored procedures.
Assist with business inquiries by retrieving and combining data.
Document requirements, data mappings, and analysis deliverables.

Qualifications:

Strong experience in data analysis and business analysis.
Proficient in SQL, including select statements, joins, and reviewing stored procedures.
Experienced in data validation and data mapping.
Familiar with gathering and documenting IT software requirements.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build trust and guide discussions.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
