Responsibilities
Kforce is seeking a talented SQL Data Analyst on behalf of our client, a major telecommunications provider located in Greenwood Village, CO. This team is central to driving data-informed decisions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Summary: This role requires strong SQL skills combined with Tableau expertise to analyze complex data, build dashboards, and collaborate closely with engineering teams. - Analyze large datasets to identify trends and business insights
- Write advanced SQL queries using joins, CTEs, window functions, unions, and more
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions (and vice versa)
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards
- Deliver ad-hoc and recurring reports to support business decisions
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and other analysts
- Connect and integrate disparate data sources into a cohesive data library
- Maintain dashboard quality, updates, and data integrity
Typical Projects
- Measuring customer impacts from firmware deployments across devices
- Analyzing connectivity issues like recurring Wi-Fi failures on specific hardware
- Supporting engineering teams with KPI tracking and incident impact analysis
- Creating self-serve dashboards for business stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in complex queries and query optimization
- Expertise in Tableau dashboard creation and maintenance
- Analytical skills using aggregate functions such as SUM, AVG, STDDEV
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical work clearly
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Ability to join, union, and clean data from multiple sources
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud data, especially AWS S3
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise data
- Understanding of backend ETL processes (handled by a separate team)
- Background in telecommunications, connectivity, or IoT is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
