Location: Valencia, CA

Pay: Up to $59 per hour

Hybrid Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (In office 3 days)

What You’ll Do

Provide technical expertise in data architecture, modeling, and metadata management
Define and implement data flows across digital products and enterprise systems
Design and test data models, pipelines, and analytics integrations
Translate business needs into data structures and technical requirements
Collaborate with database and engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, quality, and compliance
Develop data APIs and delivery services supporting internal and customer-facing applications
Build automated pipelines for high-volume and real-time data delivery (Hadoop, streaming hubs, etc.)
Create scalable, production-ready analytical solutions from complex models
Work with modern tech stacks (Scala, Spark, Postgres, AngularJS, NoSQL) in cloud and on-prem environments
Drive innovation through agile, collaborative development with product managers and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or related field
5+ years of experience in data engineering or related field
Prior experience with regulated healthcare data (HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11) preferred
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, ETL development, and data modeling (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
Experience with FHIR, HL7, or OMOP data schemas a plus
Cloud experience with AWS Glue, EMR, S3, Lambda, ECS (HIPAA-compliant environments)
Familiarity with Flink, Kafka, Spark, or Terraform
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
