The Senior Data Scientist holds a leadership role within the data team, bringing extensive experience to bear on complex and ambiguous business challenges. They play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization's analytical strategy, utilizing advanced analytical techniques to provide innovative solutions. Collaborating seamlessly with members of the DNA team, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders across the enterprise, the Senior Data Scientist contributes valuable insights to guide decision-making and drive strategic initiatives. With a focus on delivering heightened value, they navigate ambiguous problem domains, leading the team in tackling sophisticated analytical tasks. In addition to their analytical prowess, Senior Data Scientists actively mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence. Their overarching goal is to elevate the data science capabilities of the organization, ensuring impactful contributions to business objectives.
Please note: Our current onsite work schedule requires attendance from Monday through Thursday each week, with remote work permitted on Fridays.

What You’ll Do:
- Spearhead the development of innovative analyses, leveraging diverse data sets to significantly impact decision-making and propel the evolution of product features
- Apply advanced analytical techniques with a depth of experience to architect scalable solutions that address complex business challenges
- Lead collaboration with cross-functional partners, ensuring seamless integration of machine learning models into operational workflows to drive strategic initiatives
- Assume a pivotal role as a thought leader, providing expert guidance on data science methods to stakeholders and team members, particularly in navigating complex and ambiguous problem domains
- Drive the establishment of efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, validation, and implementation, emphasizing a senior-level perspective on optimization and performance
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineering and CloudOps teams, contributing senior-level expertise to seamlessly integrate successful models into production systems at scale
- Translate intricate business questions into analytical problems solvable with advanced data science techniques, emphasizing a nuanced approach to problem-solving
- Lead initiatives to strengthen and scale analytics infrastructure and processes, aligning with senior-level strategic objectives for enhanced efficiency and impact
- Act as a seasoned communicator, effectively conveying technical concepts and insights to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise, embodying the senior perspective in articulating complex ideas with clarity and impact
Previous Experience & Requirements:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline
- 4-8+ years of relevant experience in data analytics roles
- Expert in Python and SQL, competency in Scala/Java/C++ also considered
- Significant experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning methods
- Experience with natural language processing, computer vision, and deep learning
- Experienced with data platforms like Databricks of Snowflake or processing frameworks like Apache Spark
- Hands on experience with one of the major cloud platforms preferred, Azure experience a plus
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to learn new technologies and tools
- Time management and organizational abilities
Salary: $150,000 - $184,000 per year; in addition to base salary, a discretionary 13% annual bonus is provided.
The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
