Project Overview: The Veterans Experience Office (VEO) leads VA’s strategy to create meaningful Customer Experience (CX) between Veterans and VA employees across all VA channels. VA is focused on putting Veterans at the center of everything VA does and ensuring every interaction is predictable, consistent, and easy. As a result, VA is moving towards a unified approach grounded in the latest advanced analytics and AI methods to collect and analyze operational, experiential, social, behavioral, and enterprise data to support Veterans and their caregivers, dependents, survivors, and advocates.
VEO delivers critical milestones that further VA’s commitment to deliver excellence, trust, and transparency to our Veteran community and plays a key role in delivering data-driven business processes, tools, and technological solutions. Our team is committed to supporting VEO in improving the insights derived from the vast amounts of Veteran and CX data, enhancing the platforms that operationalize that data and driving efficiency across all major VEO programs.
Scope of Work: The VA EMACS data, analytics, and AI teams accelerate action through data and insights to enhance the experiences of Veterans and their families, caregivers, survivors, and advocates through turning operational, experiential, social, behavioral, and enterprise data into insights for action and providing data, reporting, and analytics to stakeholders across VA. The team builds products and solutions from integrated data and transforms insights into Veteran impact, orchestrates coordinated responses, and optimizes experiences with AI and the latest data technologies. The team develops data engineering processes to ingest a variety of data sets (e.g., operational, experiential, social, behavioral, enterprise), integrates and aggregates for targeted use cases, and improves data and insights accessibility for enhanced decision-making. The team generates comprehensive reporting that drives strategic decisions and generates actionable insights across all levels of the organization. The team builds data, analytics, and AI products/solutions to enhance service delivery and optimize outcomes for Veterans and their families, caregivers, survivors, and advocates in VA priority areas, including homelessness, crisis, access to care, contact center, and additional use cases in alignment with VA/VEO priorities.
The Team: The VA EMACS data, analytics, and AI teams operate together to deliver data engineering, analytics, and AI solutions. The team is comprised of cross-functional resources who work together in an agile development process with two week-long sprint cycles. Team members are expected to be proactive, collaborative, and mission-focused in the development of enterprise solutions for users across VA.
