Objective Management Group (OMG) is seeking a forward-thinking and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Product Science Team. This individual will be a key member of our Product Science team. They will play an essential role in building our research agenda and making improvements to our assessment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Write, test, and analyze changes to OMG’s assessment questionnaire
Write SQL database queries to extract insights for analysis
Perform statistical analyses to measure relationship between OMG’s findings and various job performance variables
Research sales development topics for potential addition to our assessments

YOU WILL EXCEL IN THIS ROLE IF:

You are curious about sales and what separates great salespeople from “OK” salespeople
You are comfortable learning about new database systems, extracting/transforming data, and performing statistical analyses
You are naturally curious and a self-starter. Tell us about the last Wikipedia rabbit hole you went down, or a side project that you took on!
You enjoy solving problems using a scientific process and supporting decisions using data
You have high attention to detail. You’re fanatical about checking your work, documenting your steps, and even formatting your work correctly

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

3-6 years of experience in data analysis (Business Intelligence, RevOps, I/O psychology, survey design and analysis)
Prior experience writing advanced SQL queries including joining multiple tables, sorting time stamped data for date-specific results
Prior experience editing SQL databases
Experience creating detailed statistical analyses in Excel
Diligent about documentation of all your database changes and analyses
Experience utilizing basic inferential methods (e.g., correlation, contingency tables, t-tests, ANOVA)

NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience writing and evaluating survey questions (“items”) for effectiveness
Knowledge of assessment validity principles
Experience conducting literature reviews in scientific journals and mass media
Ability to translate scientific findings to a layperson audience
Strong writing skills

Advancement potential includes becoming a junior product manager and serving as a representative of the company to promote our data and research initiatives.

COMPENSATION

$55,000 - $70,000 OTE (90% Base / 10% Base and Performance Bonus)
